Synthetic wind created by one of my own pd patches. Basically its just
white noise filtered with sweeping bandpass filters. I guess this is
for the ultra-lazy type of sound designer.

Great wind sound for background where you're after a sort of desolate sound, to set a scene for the Arctic, Antarctic, or perhaps even the desert.
