This sample was created by passing a synthesized perc sound through a VST amp simulator with a high overdrive setting. The same signal chain used to create synthperc_001.wav and synthperc_002.wav (also on this sample pack).On top I added quite a lot of reverb and tweaked the reverb settings until I got what sounds like a big metallic drum.
