Hey look at that, the Zoom H1 recorder is out again. I thought it was broken (one channel stopped working) but now seems OK again.

The other day the rubbish collection truck was emptying the bins and the hoist at the back that lifts the bins was making this massive squeak... but I did not have the recorder!

I manage to capture it this time. Recorded from behind a closed window on the ground floor. Started the recording when the truck was already in my street and then kept recording after it left our street until I could no longer hear the truck or the noise of emptying the bins.

At some point close to the end of the recording you can hear some neighbours talking, shouting in the street.
