Cut out small interesting portions of copyc4t's sounds in Audacity. This time I was looking for something less rhythmic and a bit more mellodic. That would also play well with my previous rhythmic/percussion loops.

Loaded it into a Reason sample player. The output of the sample player was fed into a Maelstrom synth so that I could put it through that synth's waveshaper and one of the filters.
Then it was a matter of playing with filter, envelope and waveshaper settings until I found some sounds I liked.
A bit of delay was applied on top of a sequence of notes I played on the midi keyboard.
