Percussion sound created to be used in the collab 1 Dare at Freesound.
This sound was created using Frequency Modulation techniques in Thor (a synth in the Reason DAW).
These sounds ended up sounding more like a plucked string than precussion. They remind me of the sound of a kalimba.
