Freesound - Monotron-Duo 20130303 by AlienXXX

This pack contains a series of sounds recorded from my monotron-duo on 2 March 2013.
In most sounds (especially the processed sounds) a noise gate was used.

The sounds were recorded by connecting the monotron headphones output into my laptop mic input. Used a very low volume setting on the monotron to avoid clipping on the input.

I used Ableton Live to record the sounds.
A few sounds were recorded dry, but in most sounds effects were used to create sounds outside the capabilities of the monotron.
I used several of Live's own effects: gate, EQ3 (used as cross-over filter to separate the sound into 2 bands which where then treated to separate effects), Redux (bitcrusher and rate reducer) and EQ.
I have also used 2 external VST effects:
Tracker by MDA @ smartelectronix
and Saro by Antti @ smartelectronis
