It might not work for everyone but it does for me: try to relax more, eat healthier, don't focus on it (mask it with sound) and don't expect it to go away within a few weeks. It can get better, keep having faith :).

I can have a constant high one for months, and then it will slowly disappear again. Happened to me several times.

mine lasts for a few seconds, and has higher pitch.. then it goes away after a few seconds.
the clip soounds like a gong.

Ah. My tinnitus is much more constant in volume and pitch, considerably higher pitched and loud enough to hear it whenever I want to think about it, in most situations
