When a tool sharpener grinder is in use, it begins with the electric hum of the motor, gradually rising in pitch. As the blade meets the grinding wheel, a continuous, steady grind fills the air, accompanied by the sharp, metallic rasp of the tool being honed. Occasionally, small sparks fly off from the contact point, adding a crisp, crackling sound to the overall noise. The sharpener’s rhythmic buzzing and grinding creates a focused, mechanical atmosphere, punctuated by the occasional flicker of heat and friction.
