It's winter on Vancouver Island. The heavy and frequent rains engorge the lakes & streams and they flow into the Cowichan River. Engorged by seasonal precipitation this large heritage river churns into a narrow bedrock canyon, turns, and comes out of the turn charging. This is where the recording was made, at river level.
Recorded in January with a Zoom H1 N, audio quality 48,000 Hz. Unedited.
