Trying to put together a piece on Istanbul. I need a little bit (around 1:30) of a Baglama for the soundtrack...

Anyone?

Hello, I can record some baglama saz and some cumbus saz improvisations for you. Although I do not really know how to play Turkish music, I can mimic the style reasonably well. I will post some stuff next week. Hope it helps.

Hi. Unfortunately, I was not able to record any music for you. My saz is in storage several hundred miles from where I live.
My August travel plans fell through due to a family situation. I may make the trip in October. Let me know if you are still looking.
Also, there are some good saz samples for purchase at soundsnap.com, but they are pretty short in duration.

Well, this is old news by now, but xserra has some awesome recordings of Turkish music in solo and ensemble performances. His baglama recording can be found here:

Just to continue compiling good saz recordings- Freesound user gopalkoduri has shared some excellent baglama recordings. Some of them are instrumental and some of them have vocals. My favorite:
