Looking for (death)metal/industrial samples, all kind of stuff... Guitars, bassguitars, drums, weird synths, haywire machines, strange mechanical sounds ect.

I'm new to this stuff, and it has been a long time that I played guitar, left alone music so, I hardly remember G and A # and all that stuff. So, it would be handy to get samples in which I know what it is...

Tips and tricks are welcome too... I guess I didn't chose the easiest form of music... tongue

As for technical stuff for ppl that know what I'm talking about, my interest in metal samples goes to the "average" brutal death metal, melodic death metal(solos, high technical guitarplay, jazz style)and technical(meshuggah-like time signatures etc.)...

Industrial music prefere working machines, dark synths/ambient stuff, weird sounds, noise, war sounds, metal-on-metal scratching and pneumatic hammers/working noisy tools.

Thanks anyway...

Not the easiest form of music but probably the best

Anyway, I experimented a bit and you can find some riffs (palm-muted mainly) here; http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/packsViewSingle.php?id=830&start=0

Quality could be better but I just bought some new equipment and with more time available I'll post some more later on.

You may also want to go through my other samples, there is a lot I use for my own industrial-metal songs.

Good luck!

Would love to play around with it but something is wrong with the zip folder - I only get three of the 30 samples when I download the zip.....

Let me know when this is fixed and point me to other stuff in that direction.

Thanks, Kai

Bram has fixed the sample pack, you can download all the contents in one zipfile now.
