Hi appreciate composers, I'm looking for a scary sound for a fright, something like the "chan-chan" which sounds in horror movies, when people suddenly see a killer or a ghost. Does anyone have it or know where could I found it? Thankss

Can tou describe more what is "chan-chan"?. It could be the chan chan of Psicosis (string cuartet playing treble notes) or the bass-medium frequencies of a symphonic orchestra.

I reckon its a quick heavy keyboard, 2 chord hit. either big echoey piano, low or possibly a knackered old harpsichord....

is this a quiz?

Yes, something like that description. It's similar to the Psycho scene, but more FX than Music, as a startle. Thanks again.
