Hey everyone, I’ve been trying to track down a specific sound effect and no luck so far. It’s in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8z_dZH2jD0s.
The sound plays between 0:25–0:27, when the logos switch. Does anyone know what this effect is called or where I can find it?
Thanks in advance!
Not sure if there's a specific name for it.
But to me sounds like a ring or coin doing the "Eulers disk effect" processed with a few effects.
Probably a reversed thing with fading in sound.
Tonality wise, it's also like a singing glass or triangle (maybe even a "tinnitus sounds?", so maybe that with some tremolo effect ramping in speed. Maybe the entire sample ramping up in pitch hmm.
So yeah, id try taking a high pitched singing glass sample, and a reversed triangle hit. Merging the two, adding a tremolo (that probably speeds up over time).
And you'd probably get a similar tension building "ear ringing" screech fade in thing.
Do you still need this sound effect? I can post a similar one on the website.
