Hello there,
I'm absolutely in love with this block sound at 1:47 here https://youtu.be/hEOtEjTP2ag?si=mU-hYTljzaF78aui&t=107
The hollow sound "thock" red thing.

I have found these sounds
https://freesound.org/people/calaudio/sounds/53403/
https://freesound.org/people/kwahmah_02/sounds/268822/
https://freesound.org/people/ashboy34/packs/30699/

But they hit a little differently. Maybe not hollow enough?

I looked for all "+block +percussion" and "woodblock". There's none for "temple block" or "clog box". "tap box" doesn't yield those kind of sounds.

Maybe I need to bite the bullet and get one for myself x') I kinda fantasize about my own micro perc kit with hat, block, ride, cowbell, digital kick pedal and snare pad, But damn drums are expensive!

To my old, weary ears smallestgranitedry.wav by ashboy34 sounds indistinguishable when panned to the right, lowered in volume and flavored with a sprinkle of reverb:

Thanks for the suggestion, I gave it a shot and those are the versions I came up with :
https://freesound.org/people/Sadiquecat/sounds/742279/ (Lunar lander 1969)
https://freesound.org/people/Sadiquecat/sounds/742278/ (dirty verb)
https://freesound.org/people/Sadiquecat/sounds/742277/ (wooden room)

True that original sound is rather close! I think the wooden room is the most natural maybe pleasant length and all.

I have also compressed the wooden room and dity verb versions. I normalized and haven't panned so that can be done while making music ^^'

Thanks for the suggestion! Hope they sound as good as what you experimented with smile
