Hello there,
If you happen to own a pepper spray can, could you please record a few sounds of it?
To this day 2024 06 05 there's only one result for "pepper spray" and it's of a protest.

Idea originating from this sound https://freesound.org/people/Sadiquecat/sounds/738645/ where Qubodup wondered if the spray would sound any different from say a pepper spray than a WD-40 can.

Many thanks!

What a dangerous request. 😂 (note the tears in the smiley's eyes)

I will throw myself to the ground a hundred times more before I would record an actual pepper spray can.

Here's what I remember the result on the receiving end sounding like.

Yeah, please be careful xD
Don't touch eyes, wear gloves, eye protection. Check wind direction and all.

the sound of pepper spray is similar to that of a spray can of polyurethane foam. you have to aim downwards.

good luck

To hear, you first have to listen

I like the Shaving cream foam from jrssandoval
Not too sharp, not much "fizz" after the thing. The sound id expect from putting shaving cream into my hand smile

Cheers!
