Thanks for your recordings on freesound. Yo do a great job, but I believe that the forums are not intended for explicit advertising.

My thoughts too, but for a genuine freesounder like David I'd be happier if this appeared in (were moved to) "Off Topic".

Me thinks Paypal links are okay in User Profile but too commercial for Forums and Signature. Sets a bad precedent and encourages real spammers.

@DaveJf : Your sounds are great, and I usually comment and rate them ! Promote them through your profile or your description is a good idea.
But, according to me, forum threads are more usefull to share ideas, tips & tricks
help people, or discuss.
