Hey, I was wondering if anybody could recreate a sound-loop of the rope reeling-in similar to this:

https://youtu.be/jkeM77Amk5c?t=322

Just the middle rope part. No gunshot or swooshes, and no pitch-shifting would be ideal so that I can do that with automation in a DAW when sound-designing an animation.

If nothing else, just sharing resources that help me learn to do it on my own I'd be greatful for. I attempted to do it on my own several times in the past, but always failed! All I really do is create visuals, never sounds, though I'm always open to learn new stuff!

I'm sure I'm not the only who who needs this, so if anybody does make it, I can't thank you enough!

It's just an everyday zipper sound. Try searching freesound for "zipper".

For sure! Glad to help.
Zippers are "events-per-second" machines. The number of teeth being zipped determines the frequency.
So, what I would do is cut up a good zipper sample, duplicate the cut section, extend it, and then dynamically speed it up or slow it down as needed. This gets you the pitchbend effect from accelerating/decelerating on the zipline as well as the weak doppler effect from traversing the line.
