Does anyone have samples from Bruno Mars' "Locked Out of Heaven"? I'm specifically looking for the low and high ape sounds that happen throughout the song. The "woo woo woo wooo" and "hey ay ay ay"

I listened to the song today and think I heard what you mean.

I can’t say what exactly made these sounds on that song, but ape-like sounds are often associated with the cuica, which is a Brazilian friction drum, and it might be samples of that.

For instance http://freesound.org/people/reinsamba/sounds/21722/ or use the search box to look for cuica. Even some General MIDI drum soundsets come with low and high cuica. Latin percussion in general is one of the few things in life that actually deserves the word awesome
