Hey all, im going to be the typical n00b. Im looking for a bassy stinger/siren sound. somthing like the sound Gypsy Danger had in Pacific rim, that long, low "BRAAAAAAAAAA" sound it would make when it comes out of the water. Ive tried looking for "stinger", "Siren", "klaxon" with no luck. Im not really sure if I am discribing the sound right. I would like to have it for a video I am working on as part of an intoduction. I need it to be only a few seconds long, 5-6 seconds max. If anyone knows what this sound is called, or is able to help me it would be a great help. Im going to keep searching and let you guys know if I find somthing before anyone else posts.

Do you mean that repeated, low pitched sound?

That's from an orchestral brass section, at least trombones, but adding french horns and a hint of trumpets wouldn't hurt.

yeah, thats the sound. Right now im trying out 169448__hoscalegeek__red-alert-horn-low-sounding-and-old-based-on-68121.wav but its a little too high pitched and tinny for what I want.

Here's a fresh made draft:

I can change anything about it, like speed, pitch, and quantity of instruments.

You're welcome smile

I've lowered it 4 semitones and added a big reverb:

Is this closer?
