Hi all. I've just started to put together music for fun mainly, but the thing ive been struggling with is the drum sound. Ive been trying to get a huge industrial style drum sound, but not really succeeding. Can anyone offer any tips or tricks to get a sound like that? I use acid and sound forge mainly.
Cheers

The suggestions of djgriffin are correct and work well. I may add: use some filters to create a more metallic sound and LOTS of reverb.

Alternatively: record some real industrial sounds such as crashing oil drums etc. and use those samples for your drumloop. It really works, I can tell you!

Life is probably good
