Does anyone else use the cheap and cheerful N28 voice recorders that are sold on various online marketplaces? they go for £20-30 and have a lot of interesting features for the money, 1536kbps WAV, mic in, monitor, timed recording, automatic recording, etc it's been a godsend for recording from my ham radios and it does a good job of it.

Built in mics aren't bad either but never known if it's real stereo.

I know you typically use things like Zoom for field work but i don't think there's anything that works better for my specialty, recording radio transmissions, i doubt any better recorder would have an improvement because of the cheap radios i use and the fact it's a radio transmission in general.
