If you use field recording devices such as Zoom etc... you will know that the recording is broken in many different smaller WAV files

How do you easily merge these? I know how to do it but I have not yet found a way that does it quickly

Ideally it would be a command line program or a little tool

Any ideas?

Thank you

Check this:
https://sox.sourceforge.io

sox short.wav long.wav longer.wav
concatenates the first two audio files into the third

Current binaries, MacOS included, here:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/sox/files/sox/14.4.2/
