I've got an old JVC M-510 mic as a gift. There is no manual. I have unsuccessfully contacted JVC. There is a web page ( http://pro.jvc.com/prof/attributes/list_price.jsp?model_id=MDL100550&feature_id=00) whis a message that it was archived. I have a few questions about it.
1.This JVC M-510 microphone is using one AA battery. Can this microphone be powered by the phantom power?
2. If it can be powered by the phantom power, what is the required voltage?
3. If it is capable to take the phantom power, should the battery be removed?
4. Would you share a PDF file of the original instructional manual if you have one?
Please help.
These types of mics (eletric) are not phantom powered and cannot be phantom powered.
I comb the web looking for a manual as well as a schematic, but I'm afraid that's something that JVC would only have if you could get a hold of that.
