Volume of some of my recordings shifted on left or right side, I can't fix it manually because it's tedious and unfortunately my left ear hears bit worse than right (though that 'bit' enough to piss me off sometimes) so i can't rely on that. Is there any way to automate it somehow?

tick "Normalize stereo channels independently" ...
https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/loudness_normalization.html

Or other normalization which is either RMS, or A-weighted.
(Normalization based on peaks is not reliable).

Another truck for longer outdoor shots, for example.
1] Find optically quietest part of recording.
2] Select the 5 quietest seconds
3] Play this part and see how many dB they differ from each other.
4] Correct that difference for the entire track and you are reasonably reliable.

To hear, you first have to listen
