Hi! Tip for all of you, who want to create radio noises. Check out this website.

It's software defined radio on the Internet. You can listen many radiostations with it, but also go crazy with sound effect creation. Just search for any radio frequency and rip out the noise you hear. This is just about the same that you pick up your radio tuner and search for stations, but only with pretty much higher amount of available frequencies. You just need to rip the sound that comes out from your computer with virtual audio card or similar thing.

I couldn't work out how to change to a local (UK) reception ... or I guess it is locked for his local stations (Finland)? Not sure how to work it.

Coincidentally, last year I came across this one by the same organisation: http://websdr.ewi.utwente.nl:8901/

It seems to have more options and I prefer the interface. I think it's the newer version because the copyright footnote is up to 2020 whereas the one you linked is up to 2018.

Yes. It's locked to the area, where the radio is. WebSDR is just an interface for physical software-defined radio device. Here you can find more receiver.

Tip for searching: write to Google WebSDR and the city / country you want to find.
