Hmm, just by listening to the bass sound closely I can tell it's like a Slap Bass type of sound. I think I could be wrong.

I find in music for game Afterburner Arcade (1987) create this sound use FM synthesis in this oscilloscope video:

Can see its wave form in square 2 from left/bottom. This game use YM2612 sound chip. I curious use what algorithm for this sound.
