Once I record my voice and stop recording, I want to send that recording into an MP3 format and send it as an attachment to someone. So, please talk me thru the steps...

It might help telling us what you're recording with...

Like, what device are you using to capture audio?

I have a Windows 10 Pro OS. High Definition Audio Device(working properly)
Intel Display Audio(working properly)
Microsoft Microphone(working properly)
I get high quality sound from every web site or downloaded program, etc. I use Skype to talk to friends with no sending or receiving problems, distortions, cutoffs, intermittent sounds, etc.

I don't know where the Microsoft Microphone and it's respective software recordings are being saved because i'm on Mac OSX. You need to figure that out using google.

As for the rest: once you have located the audio file you want to send you can then use an online service to send the file to your friend. I recommend the following sites for that:

https://wetransfer.com/ - private file sending service

https://clyp.it/ - public audio file hosting service (like imgur but for audio files)

https://www.dropbox.com - private (and sharable) file-hosting site.

The cheapest (free) way is to:
1. Download Audacity - a basic software to record sound
2. Open the program, hit "record" button, sing or say something, stop recording
3. Click File -> Export Sound, choose mp3 format and there you go.
4. As for sending single sound files in mp3 format, good old email is more than enough.
5. If something doesn't work (ie. you can't save your file as mp3), try downloading and installing Lame mp3 codec. Don't blame me for its name. It's just a name smile
