In Holland the children us ''loom bands'' to make armbands the are made of silicone and just as good as the expensive original (8 for € 10).

These children's bands are just €3 for maybe 50 of them.

There are two quality's; thin and a more thick once. the thick once are great. and much better than ordinary elastic bands.

google: loom bands to see what i mean. here you can get them in any toyshop..

That's cool

But, I have one query:

Aren't they going to be a bit tight on the shock-mount. Surely the vibrations will propagate easily through tight rubber bands?
