Does anyone have a HI-MD? I've been reading a lot about the better sound quality.. although I have a mac and am still a bit worried about loosing a lot of quality when recording it to my mac rather than digital transfer.

What do you think?
Can anyone recommend a specific HI-MD?

I did some reading about it a while back...

When you do an ANALOG recording on it, in non-compressed, you can transfer it DIGITALY to a PC (no idea about mac).
When you do a DIGITAL recording, you can't.
The ones I've seen don't have digital out.

All in all it sounds better for sound recording (analog source) than the previous batch of recorders!!
