Why is it loading so slow compared to other websites? I am waiting minutes until it loads up..
A great website, but very very slow.

Don't hesitate to use the contact form to report any legitimate slowdowns (https://www.freesound.org/contact/). But please make sure it's just this site and not your internet connection before contacting admin; use speedtest.net for reliable bandwidth diagnostics.

freesound is great but it is by far the slowest running website I've ever used, doubt it will ever get fixed after so many years.
