Kyle has offended against many more sound-creators than image-creators, but as the images are used on all the videos, and have all-rights-reserved , (not creative commons licensed), they are an Achilles' heel : if someone makes a copyright-infringement complaint about one of the images, an entire channel will go. I'm kicking myself for not thinking of that earlier : I mistakenly thought the artwork on the videos was bespoke like the banners on his YouTube channels.

I know.
But I'm thinking about going grand. I'm having an interview with an old friend of mine who is in an advocacy bureau that treats international cases.

For completeness :

SoundEffectsFactory is redistributing "packs" of sounds via the "downloads" page of their Facebook page, packs which include unattributed attribution-licensed Freesounds.

If you think SoundEffectsFactory putting their name on each of the files in those packs*, while not attributing the creators in those packs, is a scam, here's how to let FaceBook know that ...

[ * in some files in those packs the name "SoundEffectsFactory" is also in the "artist" field of the metadata of audiofiles which they got from Freesound, files they did not create ].

Posting critical comments on the SoundEffectsFactory Facebook page is futile as they will be deleted.

Today, after a very long time of deliberating and discussing with SEF we decided to delete his user account.

As this thread has now become quite useless (as SEF's replies are gone with the deletion of his account) we are scheduling this thread for deletion next week.

A follow up blog post will be made too.

e.g. A recent SEF YouTube is https://youtu.be/l-2NgbnGkJ8 which is http://www.freesound.org/people/Celticvalkyria/sounds/319781 , used without any attribution on a monetized YouTube , despite Celticvalkyria giving their Freesound an "attribution , non-commercial" license :¬(

Hello not sure if there the same person but around semptember 2024 I got random messages first the user was called my user name with fan at the end claiming to be a fan? then the same user claiming to be someone else they made no sense they called me a scattery rat and said they demanded sounds they needed for school I have been on here for several years now it hurt me I commented to them to try to get them to stop? they store my picture and uploaded to there image there called Bigspiderfan95 or something
