Hi, sorry for the stupid question but I'm just starting to download samples and I found this site. (it seems awsome by the way)

My problem is that when I click the download button of a sample I want, it just links me to a blank page with the wave playing with Quicktime in the middle. Is this normal? Is this how I should be able to download it or am I missing something?

Hello, I have the same problem on my Macintosh and the solution is to ctrl+click on the download button and choose to save the linked file. My web browser is Safari.

That should work. Another way is to go "File -> Save As..." which should let you save the file directly, if it's being loaded in the browser window.

Uh oh..

Well I use internet explorer so I just right click - save target as, but it gave me a .AIFF audio file. I'm not very keen with any of these things yet, and I'm presently wondering if I'm at the right place!

I want new sounds for my Propellerhead Reason!

Will these sounds work? The trumpet loot I just downloaded cannot be opened with Reason.
