hey, let me know if this has been covered, or it's the wrong place to post.

is it enough to credit sample usage on, say, a web site, when samples are being used on tracks that will end up on vinyl or CD? it could end up being a lot of names, and i don't see them all fitting well on a 12" sleeve.

just wondering what the rules are.

thanks,

corey

The rules are you have to credit the sounds. I.e. say "on this recoding I use the following sounsd from the following users:

User A
sound X
sound Z

User B
sound ..

etc.

We know the list can be long, but ... we can't fix that.
