I am starting a collaberative interactive project via email and the web that is inspired by the story of a musical artist named Justin (French Pimp of Palm Air) who has recently had some complications in his life. I am composing a tribute to his recovery.

Those who know him, and especially those that don't are asked to contribute a sound snippet to the database from which I intend on using in the audio composition. Anyone who wants to contribute tag the sound "free" and "justin". Please contribute, please free Justin. Peace.

for those of us (like myself) it might be usefull to provide some references to what his story is about because I dont get it yet.
I would also like to ask not to tag files with tags that arent strictly related to the sound itself. For the integrity of the database I would suggest that people post url's to the files here. But I havent talked to bram how he feels about this so lets wait for that too

As for the details of the matter, the people who know the details are generally emailing me the sounds. The experiment is to see what other people contribute, not knowing the details of the matter. This is not a political or social movement, it's a sonic experiment to see what people do. The sounds will then be used in the composition I write. The song will cheer up Justin, the F.P.O.P.A.

The sounds could be a recording about what you know or don't know about the matter. Or a musical note that expresses emotion about the item. Or an unrelated sound that shows you do not care or want to know about it.

As far as the tags go, that's a great idea, as long as I know where to find them! I was going to suggest the poster contact me and I was trying to figure a way to get the sounds all in one sample pack... Maybe seperate users could post to a "shared sample pack"? That is an interesting idea. I'll check back often. Thanks again!

HHm i still don't understand waht this is about? Why is justin not free? Is he in Jail?

Phase 2 of the Free Justin Movement has begun... with the limited responses I have collected and the extremely loose time demands of this endeavor, we are afforded a relaxed pace but we must remain diligent.
