Imagine you have a little jpg button next to the title of a sound that instantly shows the full resolution embedded image, that could be cool

Or even better, have a button that opens a 3d object to examine and turn over. This would allow the sound's creator to craft a full sensory experience. Now that there's a music subcategory, freesound could become a very interesting way to enjoy art! And even better, people will be able to discover beauty and joy unexpectedly with the freedom to bring that into their own projects. The experience of sorting through a stockhouse of odd wares. Or like an art gallery! Too cool.........

Been reading a book about Steven Stapleton and how he had a really tiny room that only had space for a bed and all his hundreds of records. Searching through London record stores for underground spooky music and shit. Wouldn't it be interesting to replicate something like that? Scroll though all the pictures while you're still on the search page listening to the sound. Or turn over a model.of a pumpkin or something. Maybe an oscilloscope you can open but that's just kitsch.....................

Thoughts on this you rapacallions

A great start for an independent API.

To hear, you first have to listen
