I am having trouble creating a sound effect. I am a Fire Prevention Officer and we conduct Fire Prevention Shows for kids in the month of October and I just had to upgrade all my sound equipment. I am trying to turn a recording of someone saying "911" into a wave file and I am unable to do it. I have tried all kinds of conversions online and my equipment displays file not supported. The device is a Roland SPD-SX Industry Standard Hybrid Sampling Pad. It only takes wav. files. Can anyone help me with this. I can send the file I need converted.

Thank you

Hey

You should download the free open source software Audacity
https://www.audacityteam.org/

This will help you convert your audio file.

If you are struggling, feel free to private message me and we can get it sorted out. smile

Regards,
Sam
