I've previously used Soundly for this, but now realise that I need to have the paid subscription to be able to access Freesound using that app, which is annoying because I don't need the paid version - just access to Freesound. I've been trying a bunch of others, but found that SoundQ crashed a couple of times for seemingly no reason and a couple of other smaller options just didn't seem to work on my system. Is there a go to client that people use to source sounds from Freesound without having to use the website?

I'd happily pay for the software if it works.
