hello everyone!

...I first registered here a long time ago, but can't say I've been very 'active'... trying to change that!
This is a great site, love the concept. I'm an artist living in Finland - work with both audio and visual art - I work visually with wood, metal and graphics, and every now and then I'll do some sound sculpting (trying to work abstractly, but usually it ends up as some kind of music anyway...)

I finally uploaded my first tracks - they are recorded in this old house I lived in with a friend for a year. Only a wood heated antique stove to warm the place up with, the uploaded sounds are from that very stove.
We had to fetch water from a well every day, I'll add a recording of that one also...
Coming up is also a field recording of cross-country skiing in deep snow in Lapland, I'll just have to find the disc (never, ever leave your minidiscs unmarked...) and clean it up a bit.
