This has probably been done here or somewhere but it would be cool for some of us that grew up in the 70s and 80s to have sounds from then that you just don't hear anymore. Not just the old phone ringers and dial-up tones (they are everywhere), but stuff like old cash register, original Simon game and other handheld electronic games, pong, TV sign-off, flash bulb, old CB chatter (it does sound different today), school movie projector, slamming down a phone receiver, etc.

To me hearing these old sounds are just like a smell that brings you back. I wish our movies from then had sound but I am converting old 8mm film movies to digital and to be able hear the sound would be great. I may have to brush up on my foley skills and add some sounds to them.

How many can we list here and how many can you find?
