After stealing (j/k) and copying 1,000's of fantastic FreeSound files over several years of work, SyFy author-novelist, award-winning independent film-maker, retired journalist and musician Julian Phillips (San FRancisco Bay Area) would enjoy this opportunity to express my gratitude, (esp. Greek555, sentimiun(?), erokia (?) and many other anonymous and fantastic sound-design artists frequent to FreeSound). Please see video-pages for Page3Features on Facebook, esp. clip-video series for THE COBALT MIGRATION (450,000 views last year, now almost 3-hours of episodes), the MEEK EARTH KIDS BOOKS, ONE BILLION HEARTBEATS, GUN ZERO, and the 60-min drama, 'CORRUPTISSIMA', for many examples of your hard-work in sound-design, exhibited in my stories on FAcebook (free! such a deal!). The Meek Kids stories earned 5,000 60-min views, and 30,000 minutes of thru-play just the past ten days (FB logs); my media-arts company FLIMSY WINDOWS CREATIVE is also setting up with the new Smart-phone App VEZBI (accepted by Google, and Apple for use), for a dedicated streaming-content channel, that will hold much of this content, which definitely includes much from your fantastic FreeSound artists. Also see the award-winning Best Feature (small film festival Los Angeles 2014), 'Christmas Curfew', 90-min. family comedy, on Amazon, which also has Foley and short tracks from FreeSound (writer-producer = me). Taking more than giving back, I know, so I wanted to be sure to invite you guys and gals out there with your sound-recordings, so you can see your own work in the public mass media. I would totally love to share any revenue or $ from these art-works, with the original creators.
