So i'm perusing the sound files here, and I'm trying to find a sound for something like when a DJ "scratches" or halts the turn tables. I was hoping for a sound like when someone puts in a country CD over a rave mix--like the dj will scratch over the surface of the records.

you know, another good way to do that is to take it in Sony ACID and and view the sample by split seconds, you can make your own really tiny Gates, and also just take two samples and SLice thEm rythmically, to eachother. you can also make your own beat repeat type deals if you want, and VST BLAH BLAH BLAH..................................
