dear forum,

i plan to write some software that interfaces with the freesound project and retrieve samples with specific tags. i found the mootcher library, but i'm not familiar with c++ development as i only have experience with c#. also the freesound-dev list, that should be available for software-development related issues seems to be gone.

thus i wanted to know if there still is a forum or list for dev related things and
if there is someone who has experience with developing software with freesound data and
if someone knows any examples of software that interops with freesound data?

thanks!

Halleck

I think someone wrote something for MAX/MSP and also a java library called jMootcher, but other than that I'm not sure. Search around the forum or ask Bram...

I have a vb.net client that uses that code too. It has a basic framework for downloading and performing freesound samples using .net and directsound.

If anyone wants to fiddle with that, I would be more than happy to post the code (once I get home from work).
