Hello,

I'm a performer of music in Belgium and for years I've had sound effects on my website for free. Once I tried to come up with a project to start a "free sound effects database" because it had the potential to collect a good share of samples of mid to high quality from all across the world:

I'm thrilled to see now that something like this excists for the following reasons:

- not everyone has a field recorder and the request sample option of this site has great potential to be a custom resource for people who need only one sample and thats what brings me to the following:
- not everyone is having the money to throw against sample cd's that are copyrightfree but tie you to restrictive lisences
- like good free computer software, there also should be good free audio samples
- This is the best reason for me: breaking the cycle of more money = more satisfaction in life, and thus: concentrating on the spirit of music making because it's in your heart first, then money later...

My next sound pack will be available here soon (i hope lol)

WOw, I found out there's a nasty pop in one of the sound files, musical winds, Hw ould i edit this one and replace it with a new version ?

Well upload the new one, you have to ask bram to delete the old one for now.
