Hey people!

Just discovered this site while looking for a storm sample and I found it straight away, thx a lot!

I've got a couple of short questions:

1st. I was wondering: how old is this project? (from the number of samples I'd say it's pretty young)

2nd. Are there any beach records? with waves and stuff? didnt found any here, but maybe someone knows a nice spot where I could find those?

Greetz!

don't think so, but when you post questions like that here, there's bound to be someone with a beach-recording smile RHumphries probably has one, I bet grin

Actually I have very few recordings of waves/beach sounds. Maybe I'll make a trip to the ocean this summer and record some, but that wouldn't be for a while.

I actually live very close to the beach and wouldn't mind getting some beach sounds. If you have something specific in mind I could do it for you ie waves, wind, walking on sand, rocks etc...

Oh man, that would be so great!!

Dont have anything specific in mind, just the sound of breaking waves crushing in on the rocks or rolling over the beach...oh and it would be cool to have that typical wistle of the wind when it's a little stormy (though I think that would be hard to record).

If you could manage that I would be so gratefull!
