Hi..I have been trying to download and well I found someone else that had the same problem as I and ya know...I just cannot find the "save as target" key!
Is there a big secret here to downloading? LOL If I wait long enough it will open with quick time but then what?
Also why is it that some files...other than "wav" will ask me to save or open file??
Hey gang thanks for your help! Does anyone know of a link here on the site that I can follow to help me out?
Rob

If you can copy the link to the sounds I'll copy the download link and post it here to see if that'll work for you. What web browser do you use?

If this doesn't work then try shutting off your firewall until you're done downloading or shut down any anti virus programs that might be blocking you from downloading anything. I use Zone Alarm and a lot of times when I can't do something on this computer it's because of my blasted firewall.
If that doesn't work then try downloading another web browser like Firefox and attempting it then (after turning your firewall back on of course).

So when you clicked the link it went to the little QT window? I'll try it on my computer with Explorer and see if it does the same because I normally use Firefox and it goes straight to "Open With..." and "Save to disk".

the "Save Target As" option appears when you right click on a link.

For example the link that says "Download" if left clicking on it doesnt give you the option to save it to your hard-disk, you could, instead, try right clicking on the link that says "Download" and in Internet Explorer you should see "Save Target As" as one of the menu options, In firefox its also in the right click menu but its called "Save Link As". Hope that helps.
