I can download these top notch sounds, ambient noises, etc. and as long as I credit them at the end of my film it's FREE?

We have no money and are making our first feature film and a lot of our outdoor sound cuts in and out and I found the perfect ambient noises here and I couldn't believe it was this easy.

No, there is no catch. You can use this for free as long as you credit properly as described in the licence.

Of course, if you can contribute your sounds it is much appreciated here!

and many people will DO REQUESTS. all you have to do is post a description of the sound you want and someone here will attempt to create it-usually in a day.

I feel bad though because I'm not sure I could contribute very much. The only thing we have to record sounds with doesn't work very well, which is why I had to come here.

Maybe one day when I have access to better equipment I'll get you guys back.

I have an 8 year old microphone that isn't mounted right at all and it produces the worst of sounds but I still manage. If you can submit anything at all I'm sure someone will be willing to remix it or touch it up for you.

All I have is:

a dusty, OLD-ass Highballer 2 I found in the cupboard below my tv.

a peice of crap olympus voice recorder

bent toys from my closet

a guitar the used to have six strings, but now only has four, I found it in my closet.

Oh, and a turntable and hundreds of my dad's old records

So you can understand why nothing made with that crap ever gets posted here, I use digital synths and stuff, because I can't find a decent noise removal program.

Yes... it's ... somewhere on the license... i am sure i saw it between the part that says"properly atttribute the author of the original work" and the "must send proper wine bottles to moderators"
