I uploaded a mono file, but anyway, the waveform description says "stereo". How can I fix that?

your file is stereo, not mono.

perhaps something went wrong in the encoding stage? download and decode to see for yourself...

ops: I wasted disk space. I am soo stupid .. hock:

no worries, freesound doesn't take up THAT much disk space.
just leave it, but you could ammend the description.
