I'm recording a song right now and if anyone out there has a rhythmic-type group clap, that would be amazing.

Thanks in advance

Use one (or more similar) samples and mix them together with little variaton of pitch, volume and panning. Then sequence the rythm. I think I can do it if you wish, just give me the rythm and and tempo you want smile

About how many bpm would you like? I'm putting together some samples and I'm a percussionist so this is as good a place as any to start making to order smile

Hi there,

I don't know if it's too late to resurrect this topic, but I too would like to get my hands
on a recording of slow group rhythmic clapping, but preferably with scattered low pitched whistles and whoops of approval. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance

There might be something like this in the caxiaforum pack, I haven't listened all the way through it yet.

Hello Halleck,

Thanks for the suggestion. I've listened to the tracks. Yes, there are whoops and low pitched whistles, but sadly it's general fast applause
(except for one file which has a short round of rhythmic clapping, but no whistling). I am really looking for lengthy slow clapping with whistles, which is a sign of approval in continental Europe and can also be an accompaniment to funky music.

Nevertheless, thanks again for your help. If you or anyone else can find what I'm looking for please let me know.

Have you thought about just mixing the clap track with whistles taken from another sample?

If you want to make your own clap track you could also try duplicating a recording of one person clapping with a little bit of delay on the different tracks, and maybe some slight echo/reverb. A similar method was suggested to produce the sound of a marching army.

Not as good as the real thing of course, but if you do it right it can sound pretty good.

Well that had crossed my mind, but I would really prefer to get hold of
the real thing if possible. I'm sure there's a recording which fits the bill somewhere.

I'll watch this space.
