Guys and Gals. This is a role call of sorts. I haven't been active the last few years in either Freesound or in making music. So, I here's what I propose...

I'd really like to kick off a monthly dare. A dare that highlights the what members feel is their favorite uploads of that month. I'd like to see people composing music, sound collages or whatever, that highlights what they feel are the best sounds uploaded within that time frame.

It might be best to use the previous month's sounds? Just to give people adequate time and to consider all the sounds that have been uploaded in the time.

I challenge you... I challenge anyone that is actively producing, downloading, uploading to compose a piece of music, a sound collage or a composition from sounds, once a month, from uploads the previous month.

What do you all think?

Wonderful idea. The bigger problem (at least for me), it's to remember to do this regularly... At least I will try to do a "January Collage" this February

It'll be a problem for me, too!

I'm working on a little something right now, but I am going to wait until the month is up, to post something that can integrate a few sounds from later in the moth.
