Here is a little simple loop creation challenge for the bored smile

Using the Twente online radio tuner,
http://websdr.ewi.utwente.nl:8901/
flick between 2 stations, then grab a short section featuring a transition between 2 different music pieces (from different stations) and turn that into a seamless loop.

You are not allowed to edit the sound in any way, except for selecting the start and end points and saving that as a loop.
This means you cannot cut out sections of the middle to smooth out the transition, etc.

This idea was inspired by this sound:
http://www.freesound.org/people/AlienXXX/sounds/249989/

To create it I simply moved between 2 radio stations that were very close in frequency.
I guess you might also be able to do this more easily by flicking between radio station presets (but I have not tried this)

I want to believe.

I also think it's time for our customary Halloween dare.

Sounds like you are already working on a Halloween composition...
Anyway, that would be a subject for another thread.

Posting here to alert everyone I forgot to include in the first post the tags that should be used... So people later can find the sounds that were uploaded in response to this challenge.

Please tag with "Continuum-7", also, in gratitude to the wonderful online tuner from Twente University, please also tag with "Twente-University".

Thanks.

I want to believe.

EDIT: As I looked through the other Continuum dares… I realized that the goal is not a piece of music in which you are using you sound. Well if a dare inspires to make music that’s a good thing. As soon as my continuum-7 radio sound is moderated I will add the link smile

https://soundcloud.com/gis_sweden/continuum7swspkp

This track is for Continuum 7 but why not send a thought to
developers of free programs, internet sites and not that free hardware.
The track dint take that long to finish but the list of software
developers, hardware etc is very long if you think about it.

Thank to

that you've got your signature sound, you're going to start working on a musical piece for this dare, or are you going to skip this one?
